This research studies the category of regional literatures based on the variables “literature” and “region” in relation to the dynamics of the Peruvian case, since, up to the present, the approaches to this category have been, still, sporadic. To this end, we use concepts such as literary field, literary market, power, center-periphery dynamics, among others, in order to problematize the center-periphery relationship that has marked the paths of national literature. We understand this problematization as a starting point to propose an agenda designed to continue the discussion, which is understood as a program that formulates initiatives for a national literature that conforms to the dialogue between the regional literatures that make it up.
