Apuntes is a biannual social science journal published by the Research Center of Universidad del Pacífico (Peru) since 1973. The journal aims to publish and disseminate studies on economics, sociology / anthropology, political science and Latin American history. Apuntes publishes two sections in each issue. The first is composed of original research articles and the second is composed of reviews of recently published books.

APUNTES, Social Science Journal is a refereed academic journal. Therefore, all contributions submitted will be evaluated anonymously by at least two specialists in the field. The results of evaluations are directed to the Editorial Board, who informs the authors of the publication or its articles, as well as comments and corrections, at the discretion of the reviewers.
