Kawsaypacha means “World of Life” in Quechua, a native language of the Andean region. This journal contributes to the academic debate that analyzes the relationship between society and the environment from different perspectives; promotes an interdisciplinary reflection and offers innovative approaches and tools to understand the growing complexity of our relationship with nature and socio-environmental sustainability.

The journal disseminates original academic articles in Spanish, English or Portuguese, and focuses on technological innovations and research on environmental issues; all of them are evaluated by double--blind peer review.

It also publishes essays, literature reviews, bibliographic reviews and information on issues related to social and environmental topics.

Periodicity: It is a semi-annual journal.
