Citation and bibliographical references style

In-text citations and bibliographical references must follow the style proposed by the American Psychological Association (APA) for its 7th edition in English. The author must ensure that all citations have their bibliographic reference in the text.

The form to quote corresponds to the editorial style APA in its seventh version. Below are three examples with the most common forms:

Carrasco (2007), with a multi-level study (student, classroom, school) about a segment of the PISA 2000 database, he find that...

In the study it was found that among the determinants of performance for the area of text comprehension, the variables that seem to be most influential are the proportion of non-repeating students in the school and attendance at initial education (Beltrán & Seinfeld, 2011).

It is possible to maintain that "the results of the national and international evaluations show that the bulk of the school population of our country, and its similar ones in the Latin American region, does not meet the standards required in basic learning competences" (Miranda, 2008, p. 11).

The other possible ways to quote (e.g., institution as author or electronic book) are subject to the same standard.

References also correspond to the APA editorial style in its seventh version. Here are four examples with the most common references:
