We present the case of a woman of 31 years, with diagnosis of aplastic anemia, she referred decrease of visual acuity on the right eye. There were not hemorrhagic signs in anterior segment of the eyes. The opthalmoscopy shows retinal hemorrhages in different quadrants of each eye; macular hemorrhage that compromises fovea in the right eye and preretinal hemorrhage with level in inferior temporal quadrant in left eye. The evolution was unfavorable, one week after found sensory commitment and general discomfort and ophthalmologic evaluation the patient presented subconjuntival hematomas in both eyes as evolutive sign of the severe thrombocytopenia.(Rev Med Hered 2007;18:45-48).
