Abstract

SANTILLANA, Efraín. Encuesta de helmintos intestinales en la provincia de Sandia (Departamento de Puno). Rev. perú. med. exp. salud publica [online]. 1956, vol.10, n.2, pp.155-164. ISSN 1726-4634.

The microscopical examination of one stool sample from 290 individuals from Sandia province, department of Puno, has shown: 1 . The incidence of intestinal helminths is high (91.03%). 2. The incidence of the different species of intestinal helmints has been found as follows:     3. The incidence for localities, in the case of Ancylostoma or Necator, increases as we go down to the jungle. 4. The most frequent association of parasites has been Ascaris lumbricoides-Trichocephalus trichiurus.
