Resumen SANCHEZ- NIETO, José Miguel. Frecuencia del burnout en policías de la Ciudad de México. liber., ene./jun. 2012, vol.18, no.1, p.69-74. ISSN 1729-4827. This study reports Burnout’s frequency in the Preventive Police from Mexico City and sociodemographic variable that are associated to it. The sample consisted of 244 officers from 20 to 58 years chosen by convenience. The Maslach Burnout Inventory for professionals of human services (MBI-HSS) was used for the evaluation, which measures de-personalisation, emotional exhaustion and low personal accomplishment. There was not relation with the schooling and age. Gender was not a risk factor to present burnout. The dimension that got a greater frequency was the low personal accomplishment.
