Educación is the academic journal of the Academic Department of Education of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) which aims to disseminate scientific production in the field of education through original and unpublished articles and essays, and book reviews. The articles present the results of empirical research, evaluative intervention studies, diagnostic studies, pedagogical innovations, or literature reviews that, through rigorous methodology, contribute to knowledge in education. The essays explain and argue specific issues of education in a reflective and analytical manner. Finally, the book reviews comment on and analyze publications in book format edited within the last three years.

Educación serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas and the national and international dissemination of educational topics among academics and an interested public, seeking to contribute to the improvement of educational quality.
